Smoke, CO, and Wireless Interconnected Alarm Buying Notes
Choose X-Sense products by what they detect and how alerts are connected. SC06 and SC07 are standalone smoke and CO models; SC06-W and SC07-W add wireless alarm interconnection. SD21, SD20-W and SD19-W detect smoke. Water leak kits and XR0A-SR serve different monitoring needs.
Which model should you compare?
On smaller screens, swipe the table sideways to see power and connectivity.

| SWS0A41 kit / SWS0A sensors | Water leaks / contact probes | Sensors: 2 replaceable AAA batteries each; rated battery life 3 years | Sensor-to-SBS50 wireless connection; app via 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi |
| XR0A-SR | Radon / continuous alpha spectrometry | 3 replaceable AA alkaline batteries; rated battery life 2 years | Local LCD readings |
Does wireless interconnection mean app control?
These are different features. Wireless alarm interconnection lets compatible alarms alert together. Do not assume an interconnected model connects to Wi-Fi or an app. Check the exact model and its base-station requirements on the linked product page.
What is the difference between SC06 and SC07?
Both detect smoke and carbon monoxide. SC07 adds an LCD CO reading; SC06 uses LED status indicators. The -W versions add wireless alarm interconnection. Confirm exact model compatibility before combining alarms.
What is the difference between the water leak kits?
SWS54 uses SWS51 sensors with local audible alarms and an SBS50 base station for app alerts. SWS0A41 uses ultra-thin SWS0A sensors; its audible alarm sounds at the SBS50 base station. App connectivity uses 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Both sensor types use replaceable AAA batteries.
Is MSRP the wholesale price?
No. MSRP means manufacturer's suggested retail price. Send the model numbers, quantities, ship-to ZIP code and intended sales channel to receive a bulk quotation.
Product documentation
The model links above provide specifications and documentation sources. See the X-Sense product catalog (PDF) for product-line reference. For installation, use the manual for the exact model and verify project requirements before ordering.
Additional purchasing notes
X-Sense smoke, CO, and wireless interconnected models serve different purchasing needs. Standalone models are often used for retail or replacement orders. Wireless interconnected models are more common in multi-room, property, or contractor project planning.
Model planning points
- Confirm whether smoke-only or smoke/CO combination coverage is required.
- Confirm whether wireless interconnection is required.
- Confirm pack type, quantity, and documentation needs before quoting.
